Climb the ranks.
Every episode you finish counts. Pick a username to join, and your hours carry you from Passerby all the way to Kami.
- Two boards. Watching counts minutes, reading counts chapters, so neither outruns the other.
- Today to all time. Top people and top shows by day, week, month and all time.
- 14 secret titles. Earned by how you watch: Night Owl, Marathon, Detour… nobody tells you how.
- Fair by design. Only real playback counts, never a manual mark, and never 18+ titles.

Why Otavue?
Otavue started as a simple question: why is it so hard to keep track of what you're watching? The anime is in one app, the manga in another, the light novel somewhere else, and the list in your head never survives a new season.
So we put the whole story in one place. Otavue streams the episode, opens the chapter, saves it all for offline, and remembers the second you stopped. Your library and progress stay on your phone, and sync to AniList or MyAnimeList only if you want them to.
And when it's better with friends, start a watch party — everyone plays in sync, with chat right over the video.

Otavue is free on Android. Grab the latest build, and check What's new for every version since.

Before you install
Works on Android 7.0 or newer. Take the first download; if Android refuses to install it, your phone or TV box is 32-bit and the universal one is the same app built to run on it. Otavue installs from the file rather than an app store, so Android will ask you once whether you trust it. New versions install over the one you have and keep your library and downloads.
